Thank you for choosing Passaparola Trivia. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect through the app, why we use it and how we protect it.
1. Information You Provide
2. Information Collected Automatically
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use the information we collect to:
The app may show rewarded and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads and to prevent invalid traffic (fraud), AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID and device information.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing you personalised ads, as applicable data protection law requires. You can change that choice at any time, reset your advertising ID from your device settings, or turn personalisation off entirely.
For details on how Google uses data in its advertising products: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
The app sends two kinds of notification: the daily token reminder (scheduled on your device — nothing is sent to a server) and challenge notifications (sent from the server when someone plays your challenge or beats your score).
Notifications are only sent if you allow them: your device's operating system delivers nothing without asking you first. For challenge notifications we store your device's notification identifier (the push token issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service) against your account — or, if you have no account, against your guest session. That identifier is used only to deliver notifications and is never shared with anyone for marketing.
You can turn notifications off at any time from My Account → Notifications in the app or from your device settings. When you turn challenge notifications off, your device's notification identifier is deleted from the server; it is also removed when you delete your account.
You can play without creating an account. We then ask for neither your name nor your email address; the app opens an anonymous session for you. Your tokens, your challenge records and — if you enabled them — your notification identifier are tied to that anonymous session. As a guest, your personal records are kept on your device only and are not sent to the server.
If you want your guest data deleted, uninstalling the app is enough: what is kept on your device goes with it. To have the anonymous records left on the server deleted, write to us at the email address below.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing without your explicit consent. Your information is passed to third parties in two cases only: when we must meet a legal obligation, and — to the limited extent needed — with the providers whose services keep the app running (see the section below).
The app uses the following third-party services:
We recommend reviewing these services' own privacy policies as well.
The information we collect is stored in a secure environment. We apply security measures such as encryption and access controls to protect your data.
As a user you have the right to:
